The hardest lift of all is lifting your butt off the couch, so stay with me and learn how to do it.

We’re starting right away!

Put Some Workout Clothes On

The first one of the lazy girl workout hacks is my favorite one – the dress up!

When you constantly look like someone who wants to workout, you’ll most certainly will workout.

I love to dress up in my favorite workout leggings on lazy days – this helps me be in a workout mood throughout the day.

That’s how I always manage to get motivated to start working out on time when my timing comes.

Use A Fitness Planner

The main reason why I’ve been so committed and organized and somehow always find time to cook my own food and sneak in that daily workout is planning.

Wondering how can a fitness planner help you lose weight and get fit?

Well, easy – it’s all up to the one simple psychological rule: If you ink it, you’ll do it!

These fitness planners the internet is loaded with, look so cute and are so helpful at the same time.

These fitness diaries will help you track what you eat, drink and workout, so seeing it all on paper will give you the ultimate fitness data.

Train Smart

It is proven that including plyometric moves into your training sessions can be a real set.

You’ll get a lift up while hitting the cardio – two birds one rock, right?

This is the best choice for all of you lazy gals, to shorten up the training while speeding up the burnout.

Also, don’t forget to change up your workouts daily:

Boredom is one of the main reasons that many people fail to stick to a workout program. No matter how motivated or excited you are when you first start a new workout, it’s easy for those strong emotions to slowly fade away as the weeks and months of doing the same thing drag on.”

Keep Hydrated With a Cute Bottle

There’s nothing like a cute looking water bottle to make you stay hydrated.

You may forget to sip up through the day, but if you have water bottles like I do, you won’t have to worry about that.

I’m a water bottle addict, I got to have every bottle I like.

My favorite one though is my first smart water bottle, that’s connected with an app and reminds me to sip up through notifications.

Oh, the things a lazy girl would do to stay healthy :)

Although I’m in love with my Hidrate Spark 2.0 smart bottle, I can’t say it’s alone on the market, so here’re some of my personal faves:

Treat Yourself

Treating yourself is one thing that always get me in the mood.

I always go shopping for a new pair of leggings, or a sport bra, and sometimes even a pair of new running shoes.

Avoid rewarding yourself with junk food though, treat yourself in nice restaurants ordering healthy food.

Prep And Plan Your Meals Ahead

Meal prepping is invented for busy people that don’t have enough time and lazy people that are too lazy to make time :P

Since I am one of these people too, I am always prepping food on daily basis especially on days when I know I won’t have time to cook my dinner.

So here’s a short guide to meal prepping, with my favorite ideas.

Workout At Home

I get it, sometimes you’re too lazy to lift your butt off the couch and go to the gym.

But what if you make a workout environment in the comfort of your home?

It doesn’t even have to be much, just a few fitness apparels that will help you finish your workout for the day:

After investing a bit, I managed to move my gym home – isn’t that just amazing?

Also, with today’s technology we have so much access to so many workout programs you can do in the comfort of your home.

Make Fitness a Part Of Your Social Life

Surround yourself with people who get you.

Having a few friends into fitness too will definitely make you feel like you are not even working out.

Once you make fitness a part of your social life you won’t have to worry about being too lazy to work out – your friends will do the work.

Having my besties Lina, Tima and Matea by my side on my fitness journey well that’s priceless – we run together, workout together, hike, train for marathons, we cook together, exchange recipes and when we go out we order salads.

All of this, certainly helped me make fitness and health a lifestyle.

Have Your Caffeine

When you’re too tired to hit the gym, that means it’s time for a coffee break.

Just a few sips of coffee or green tea will get your energy back on track.

Caffeine is also linked to better workout performance.

If you don’t like having coffee pre-workout, make a cup of green or black tea.

Just make sure it’s sugar free.

Get It Out Of The Way

If you know you’ll be too lazy to workout, set your workout time earlier in the day.

When you start your day with a workout, you won’t have a chance to skip it later.

This is a hack that works for me pretty well, since after you finish I take a shower and have the whole day in front of me.

Just make sure to always eat your breakfast first.

Work Out With Your Favorite TV Show

I always work out with Fox Life.

Rather it’s the 6 pm Grey’s Anatomy 2 in a row episodes, or New Girl if I workout earlier in the day.

Pick out your favorite time and always start working out when the show starts.

Also, don’t forget about audiobooks, here’s a free access to Audible + get 2 free audio books:

Always Workout At The Same Time

Set a time in the day when you feel most comfortable working out and workout at the same time, every day.

When you set a time for workout and follow it daily, it’s easier to make it a habit.

Come on lazy babes, it’s workout time! :)

Change Up Your Commute

I know, I know, you’re lazy to walk instead of taking the bus, but just remember that a 20-30 minute power walk counts as cardio.

So why wasting your time again later on running or staying an extra 30 minutes at the gym, when you can walk to the gym or wherever you need to go and finish up your cardio for the day.

Changing up your commute can help you keep that fitness spark into you, you’ll be amazed what a simple walk can do in keeping you into fitness mood for the follow up workout.

Always Keep Healthy Snacks Around

You can eat healthy all day long, but if you constantly snacking junks between the meals it’s all up to waste.

That’s why I suggest getting some healthy snacks, so whenever you feel like snacking you’ll reach for the healthier choice.

My favorite healthy snacks are Fit Snacks – I just love them!
