My 2019 resolution actually revolves around a few products I found on iHerb and they crush every single goal I have for this year to come:

2019 Resolutions With My iHerb Essentials

Increase Protein Intake

Protein is an essential nutrient in the everyday diet. Especially for us fit girls that exercise daily – we need protein in bigger amounts and we need to include it in every meal of the day.

Now, as much as I try to prioritize protein in every single meal I’m always running low especially when it comes to breakfast and lunch.

So, to make it count I decided my first resolution should be: increasing my protein intake in every single meal.

To do this I’m going to introduce you to 2 of the products that are essential to my 2019 resolution.

Essential #1: Protein Oatmeal

The first one of my essential to reach my goal is a breakfast – the ThinkThin, Protein & Fiber Hot Oatmeal. 

This is nothing like your regular oatmeal, mainly because of the number of healthy ingredients and amount of proteins in it.

So, to make the most out of my performance and results this next year, I’ll make sure to include 2 of the most important suptements:

  • Whey Protein
  • Amino Acids – BCAA

Essential #3: Whey

Whey is the most important supplement anyone into fitness should consider taking.

Especially when it comes to the post-workout meal. You see, during the workout, you are effectively breaking your muscles down. To rebuild them and make them stronger you need to feed them with a fast digesting protein.

This means that you break muscles while working out and you build them afterward with the “muscle building blocks” called protein.

Your muscles are so hungry after a workout and they need something fast and solid food will need hours to break down and feed your muscles.

That’s where whey comes in. Since it’s a high-protein, high-nutrient, fast-digestive liquid, whey is just what your muscles need right after a workout.

Next stop on my resolution list is snacking.

Now my 2 lowest points, the 3 foods I basically can’t say no to are:

  • chips,
  • chocolate bars and candy.

How can I ever find a worthy substitute for these 2?!

Well, ladies, there is a healthy substitute for everything nowadays, and if you want to enjoy a treat every now and then you should make sure it’s the healthiest option possible.

Essential #5: Protein Chips

Protein chips?! Say whaaaat?!

I was so happy to meet the Quest Nutrition, Protein Chips, Nacho Cheese Flavor.

Can you believe it?! A protein chips?!

Yes darls, it is true!

This is every chips lover dream – to keep snacking while keeping up with the body goals.

This is the healthiest, no-guilt pleasure I’ve had in months and the first time I’ve had my chips with without calling it a cheat.

Essential #6: Protein Chocolate Bars

The next essential on my 2019 resolution list is the sweet pleasures I got to have every now and then if I want to keep sane throughout my fitness journey is candy!

I tried the chocolate peanut butter flavored ones, and they taste like pure heaven, so now I’m determined to try every single one of them and store them for emergencies.

Essential #7: Protein Sweets

Essential #8: Nut Butters

First of all, I love peanut butter. I eat it on regular basis, it’s healthy clean and tasty.

However, every now and then I get bored of having a scoop of peanut butter as a snack, so I decided to change it up a bit and try another healthy nut butter instead.

Healthy pancakes are something I have in my diet a lot. At least when I got the time to make them which happens a bit rarely this past year.

To be honest, I can’t change up my busy schedule and make time for those pancakes in the morning. But what I can get is pancake mixture for healthy and delicious protein pancakes, ready in just a few minutes.
