After we made sure what are the things that are good to eat before a workout, now it’s time for the after workout routine. There are several rules, that you should follow, on the topic what to eat after workout. I am very hungry when it comes to after a workout, and I often overeat because I feel starving. So I thought of a plan, that will help me not overeat, and this plan of mine, actually works. So here it is, easy in few little steps. Let’s see!

1. You should eat within 30 minutes after your workout. This is important, so your body doesn’t start burning muscle.

2. It’s important to fuel your body with some form of protein, so grab a handful or almonds or whip up a protein shake before your meal, and right after finishing your workout.

3. Then, eat one big protein meal. It should contain meat, that is low in fat, and high in protein. You can combine it with any kind of vegetable salad.

4. After the meal, if you get hungry, feel free to have a small healthy snack. You can have a salad, or some egg whites, combined with any kind of nuts. Also, if you are a sugar babe, you van have a protein bar.
