Feeling tired and lacking energy to work out after a long busy day at work?

Welcome to my life!

And I know I’m not alone: after a long and busy day, I just want to lay down into a fetal position and cry, when I should gather strength to get that workout done.

Even though I’m tired as hell after work, I still have the motivation to lift my butt off the couch and get ready to empty my tank through fitness, since it’s a daily habit for me.

Sometimes I feel like my tank is so empty already, physically and mentally, that I think with working out I’m doing more harm than good.

We can blame it on being lazy all day long, but the fact is that it’s just so freaking hard to maintain the energy for every goal we have.

And what about when the cold shower and strong coffee stop doing the trick?

Well girls don’t worry because we’ve all been there, day after day doing everything we can to focus on what really maters to us and accomplish the goals we have, but sometimes we just feel drained and lack energy to even reach for the remote.

And that’s not just a made up phrase because it really happens to our body and we have to start doing something about it, otherwise we’ll never accomplish our fitness goals.

But how?

How to gather the power for the morning workout, or the after-work lift?

Well ladies hold your horses, you’re just about to learn every single detail about boosting your energy levels.

Let’s get started right away.

Why Do We Lack Energy

Now don’t get me wrong, feeling tired is a completely normal and natural signal that tells you it’s time for your body to rest.

But what happens when getting a full night rest is not enough?

A chronic state of fatigue and low energy can lead to even bigger issues and we have to do something about it fast.

I was always energized person, with full days jumping from one activity to another.

It was not that long ago I started feeling tired and exhausted all the time.

I was always so motivated to train and I couldn’t believe that I got into situation where I felt like it may be healthier for me to come home from work and go to sleep, rather then to have my training session.

I started getting frustrated: Why am I always tired and fatigued?!

This can happen for a number of reasons starting from dehydration and sleep apnea to anemia, diabetes and problems with your thyroid.

But the reasons for this can come from perfectly healthy organism and it all starts in the cells.

“When cells are receiving the energy they need, you in turn feel energized. When cells struggle to produce energy, they suffer damage or die, leaving you drained.
That’s why exercise, regular colon and liver cleansing, and eating an organic, natural diet energizes the body and keeps the mind sharp.
Some other energy-stimulating activities include massage and drinking enough water to hydrate and flush the system.
Hormone balance also plays a role in energy creation, with fatigue being one of the primary symptoms of a hormonal imbalance.”

But if you’re perfectly healthy and you just lack energy all the time and morning latte stops doing absolutely anything for improving your energy levels, you have to start doing something about it.

That’s where energy boosters come in rescue.

What Are Energy Boosters?

I started googling for solutions and that’s when I first came across energy boosters.

Energy boosters are supplements that contain ingredients providing energy, such as caffeine, guarana, vitamins and minerals etc.

These supplements are made to refill your tank when your energy levels sputter and help you focus, get better cognition and clear your mind.

No wonder athletes are using them to improve their fitness performance and have better results.

And since I’m not a big fan of  creatine and other gym-like supplements, I started looking for more natural solutions to improve my energy and that’s how I came across gBoost™.

I was a bit skeptical to try it first, but after learning everything about it I decided to give it a shot.

That’s how I realized it really works.

gBoost is actually a cognitive enhancement supplement, designed especially to improve:

  • Verbal fluency
  • Motivation
  • Working memory
  • Mood
  • Focus
  • Mental energy
  • Overall cognitive function
  • Boost overall energy levels
  • Better fitness performance

But What Do Energy Boosters Contain?

They usually contain different kinds of natural ingredients that work so good together towards getting us energized for the workout and throughout the whole day.

I’ll take gBoost as an example to explain how everything works, starting from every single ingredient inside it.

#1: Uridine Monophosphate

150mg | Responsible for motivation, verbal fluency and working memory.

Uridine Monophosphate is a cholinergic supplement that increases neuroplasticity, attention span, and can improve mood.
It increases the density of dopamine receptors in the brain, thus increasing dopamine output.
And among other things, dopamine is a neurotransmitter that regulates and affects functions in the brain like motivation, mental energy and mood.
Taking Uridine will give you more motivation and drive to complete tasks, while also providing heightened mental energy and the ability to focus for longer periods of time.

#2: CDP Choline

150mg | Processing speed, focus, and mental clarity.

CDP Choline is a cholinergic precursor to acetylcholine.
CDP Choline works by increasing the density of acetylcholine receptors in the brain, making them work better.
When you increase the amount of acetylcholine present in the brain you may actually be able to stimulate more memory storage to occur, as well as gain faster access to stored memories.
Increased amounts of acetylcholine in the brain can also lead to increased focus.

#3: Phosphitidyl Serine

100mg | Mood, relaxation, and neural function.

Phosphatidylserine is an amino acid derivative compound that is fat-soluble.
It’s found in high amounts in the brain, where it supports cognitive function.
Phosphatidylserine easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and when it does, it binds to neurotransmitters enabling the brain to metabolize glucose more efficiently.
It also reduces the levels of cortisol in the body, causing an anti-stress effect which can lead to relaxation and an improved mood.
It is considered to have neuroprotective properties as well because it increases cell membrane fluidity.

#4: DMAE

50mg | Mental concentration and anti-aging.

DMAE is an organic compound that is naturally produced in the brain.
DMAE helps the brain build phosphatidylcholine which contributes to cell membrane fluidity.
It can improve mental concentration, has strong neuroprotective properties, and is widely used for its cognitive anti-aging properties.
DMAE may be beneficial for individuals with ADHD or with trouble concentrating.
It is also a supplement that improves memory due to its cholinergic activity in the brain.

#5: Bacopa Monnieri

300mg | Learning and adaptogenic stress inhibition.

Bacopa Monnieri is an Ayrvedic herb that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine.
Bacopa Monnieri triggers more stimulation in the hippocampus, which is the part of the brain involved in long-term memory formation.
By doing this, Bacopa Monnieri can improve your ability to learn by optimizing working and spatial memory.
Bacopa supplementation will aid your mind and body in better adapting and reacting to stress as well as improve your response to acute stress.

#6: Ginkgo Biloba

100mg | Memory recall and brain circulation.

Gingko Biloba is one of the oldest tree species in the world.
Ginkgo Biloba improves both short and long term memory recall, brain circulation and concentration. It also has neuroprotective properties, improves mood, and is an adaptogen like Bacopa Monnieri.
When taken you may feel sharper and better able to access your brain for certain things you are trying to remember.
Ginkgo Biloba makes the other ingredients in gBoost work better by providing better circulation to the brain.

#7: Lion’s Mane

300mg | Neuroprotective and cognitive function.

Lion’s mane is an edible mushroom native to North America, Europe and Asia.
Lion’s Mane increases nerve growth factor (NGF) in the brain.
This means that it actually helps to grow more nerves and neurotransmitters in your brain, amplifying neural regeneration and myelin nerve sheath synthesis.
Optimized NGF may support brain plasticity for storage of new learning and memories, as well as promoting robust brain cell replication and healthy brain cell membrane function.
It can also improve memory and overall cognitive function.

Do You Really Need Energy Booster?

Girl, I hope you never have to search for ways to boost your energy to come across my article in the first place.

However, the reality is that nowadays too many of us are suffering from excessive fatigue and constant burnout.

And more people than ever are having troubles focusing, struggling to stay motivated and gather enough energy to accomplish their goals.

It’s a common knowledge we have to give 100% when working out, but how do we manage to give the energy when we’re running low all the time?

Even while making sure to exercise daily and eat healthy all the time, it still seems that something is missing, let’s say a boost.

That’s why by giving your brain the extra push and  providing it with “the right building blocks” you can dramatically improve your cognitive function and motivation thus boosting the results.

We’ve heard it thousand times girls – it all starts with the brain.

The body achieves what the mind believes, and we know for a fact that your body can go through almost anything but it’s your mind that needs that extra push.

That extra push feels like moving a mountain sometimes, and that’s why energy boosters exist in the first place.

They give your brain that motivation and boost you need, awaken your senses and adjust your focus on what’s really important.
