Are you ready to pop those abs?!
This fat blasting ab workout challenge I have for you today will help you burn fat while toning those gorgeous abs.
And even if you are a complete beginner, these exercises are a great way to start with.
These are my 6 go-to ab exercises whenever I try to target my core, while spiking my heart rate up and burning some extra calories.
Also, they are all a part of my workout program Radiate, so make sure to check it out if you are interested in starting a serious workout routine.
However, I’ll get into more details about the videos here on my blog.
Without further ado, let’s jump right into the workout!
Fat Blasting Ab Workout Challenge
First of all let’s start with the exercises:
- V Ups – 30 seconds
- Knees To Chest – 30 seconds
- Reach Ups – 30 seconds
- Kick Ups – 30 seconds
- Toe Reach – 30 seconds
- Climbers – 30 seconds

Sets & Reps
The workout should be performed with the exercises done back to back with no rest in between them.
Once you finish with all of the exercises, take a 30-60 seconds rest, before doing one more round.
If you follow me for a while now, you already know I believe in the power of HIIT.
This means that the exercises are not done in reps, instead, they are performed in a certain time range, in this case in the range of 30 seconds.
Why is that?
Well, I believe that this way you can evolve every time you repeat this challenge.
Plus, exercising in a certain range instead of doing reps, gives you the freedom to modify your workout to your personal fitness level.
This leaves you a ton of space for growth, here’s how:
Let’s say the first time you do only 3 V Ups in 30 seconds.
Next time you do it you can push yourself to do 4, then 5 and so on.
Basically you create your own workout.
There are a few rules though:
- Do the exercises back to back – no rest in between them
- Once you finish the 6 exercises, take a 30-60 seconds rest, before performing it again
- You can do 2-3 rounds total, depending on your fitness level and your preferences
- You can add weights to some of the exercises if you fell like it.
Is This A Full Body Workout Routine?
No, it’s not.
This is just an ab workout challenge you can add to your daily routine in order to activate your ab muscles and help them get stronger and pop them out.
To get fit, lose weight, and build some serious muscles you still need to work on your body as a whole piece, and perform a full body workout routine.
