Girl, you’re not the only one – millions of women ask themselves this same question when they look in the mirror, every single day.

We all crave getting small waist big hips and achieving that hourglass body shape, because it looks absolutely amazing.

That wide hips small waist look.
But then again it’s so freaking impossible to achieve.

That’s why I decided to do a little guide on how to get smaller waist and bigger hips, and an honest overview on the possibility of getting them.

Can all of us really get them?
Can we beat genetics?

Let’s get started right away!

Make sure to check my video, where I explain everything in details

Let’s Talk About “3 Days To Get A Hourglass Body Shape” Guides

The #1 article you get when you search “how to get hourglass figure” or “how to get smaller waist and bigger hips” is this:

How To Get Smaller Waist and Bigger Hips? The Small Waist Big Hips Guide

Wow! Really?!

I can get a hourglass figure in just 3 days?!

YEAH, RIGHT…

I HATE these kinds of fake fitness articles and guides.

They are literally made just to collect audience and trick people believing they can really do it in 3 days. When that’s an absolute NONSENSE.

These “fast fix-ups” are just a myth and the sooner you realize that the better.

They’ll trick you into believing you can really do it and when you don’t you’ll end up in even worse scenario:
Thinking you’ve done everything and you still can’t get results, which in most ways leads to quitting.

That’s why it’s so important for you to realize that you can’t make a change overnight.

If it was that easy, everybody would do it, right?

In reality, it takes months, sometimes even years to get to the desired body and make the desired version of yourself.

And the faster we clear the misleading fitness info out of the way we’ll start going in the right direction.

Don’t believe everything you read, but don’t lose faith that you can make a change, because there’s always something you can do.

Why The Heck Some Woman Have Hourglass Body Shape And Others Don’t?

Reason #1: GENETICS

Having that hourglass body shape is usually all because of genetics.

Simply because some are born with it.

Some are born with bigger hip bones, the same way some of us are born with bigger noses than others.

It’s all on our bone structure to blame.

Also, the places your body stores fat, which also varies from one girl to another.

For example, some of us store fat in the hips, some of us in the thighs and some of us on the love handles.

We are all born and made differently and that’s the beauty of it.

Each and every one of us is unique and beautiful in her own way.

That’s why it’s really important to understand that if you have let’s say strawberry body shape and your hips are not that wide, maybe it’s because that’s how your body should be.

Reason #2: Weight gain

The other reason why you may not have the hourglass body shape is weight gain.

If you have excess fat on your body your natural curves may be hiding away underneath the fat layer.

In cases like this, simply following a healthy nutrition plan and exercising regularly you can achieve your desired body shape.

Reason #3: The P Word

Photoshop.

But, we’ll get there later on :)

Can You Change Your Body Shape To Get Small Waist Big Hips?

I’ll lie if I say you can.

The truth is, you can work on some parts of your body and make them bigger than others.
However, your body and bone structure will always stay the same.

You obviously can’t change your body frame and bone structure.

So, if you fall into the rectangle category, you’ll probably never achieve an hourglass figure…

However, what you can do is play with muscle mass and body fat.

It’s true, you cannot control your bones and where your body stores fat, but how much fat is stored is entirely your choice.

So, what you can do is:

  • focus on losing the excess fat in the places you have it
  • build some lean muscles in the places you want to make bigger

This way you can visually achieve the desired hourglass body shape you want.

Your bone structure and your body shape will always stay the same, but the muscles and the fat can be shaped to a certain degree.

What Can You Do About It?
How to get smaller waist and bigger hips?

There are a few things you can do to try and get an hourglass body shape.

I’ll try to explain them all thoroughly, so stay with me!

#1 Eat Healthy

As I mentioned before, the reason you do not have hourglass figure may be because you have excess fat hiding your natural shape.

And the best way to lose that excess fat is by eating healthy.

You can achieve almost any fitness goal if you eat right – you are what you eat and that’s a fact.

You cannot out-train a bad diet, so make sure you start eating healthy.

Especially when it comes to the fat covering your waist.

You can do thousands of crunches a day, but if you don’t eat right you’ll still have fat covering your belly, preventing you from achieving that small waist.

If only it was not that freaking hard to eat healthy, right?

That’s why I designed my all-in-one RADIATE Program to help all of you struggling to lose those stubborn inches around the waist.

Start with the meal plan TODAY!

#2 Start Working Out

Many girls ask me what’s the best exercise to get hourglass body shape.

Girls, you have to understand that there’s not a single exercise that will help you achieve the small waist big hips look.

Also, there’s not a single body part you should work on to get it either.

You know why?

Because you should work on your body as a whole piece.

Also, there’s not a single exercise for bigger hips and smaller waist.

To get the best results, I always suggest a HIIT workout program.

That’s because of the high intensity and the intervals in this type of training will help you lose the excess fat, without tapping into that lean muscle mass.

Check out my workout program I’ve created for all of you that want to get to their dream bodies.

We will use our muscles to get even better results, but you’re gonna have to get fit overall first.

#3 Use Your Muscles

In reality, your muscles can do two things: get bigger or get smaller.

When you lift weights your muscles will most certainly grow.

This means your waist won’t get any smaller by training abs, therefore you should train your obliques without using weights.

What you can do to get a smaller waist is to get rid of excess fat, but this doesn’t mean you have to start doing cardio like a crazy person, because you’ll still burn fat from lifting weights.

On the other hand, you can work harder on your lower and upper body.

This means your legs and booty + growing a wider back, shoulders, and arms to create the illusion of a smaller waist.

Especially working to build up those back muscles.

You’d be surprised how important growing a wider back and bigger booty is when it comes to achieving the small waist big hips look.

#4 Work On Your Core

And the best core workout is cardio.

As I just said, you don’t have to spend hours on the treadmill to tap into that fat burning zone.

Nowadays it’s much easier with HIIT and Tabata.

These kinds of workouts will help you lose the excess fat faster, especially the stubborn one around your waist, without tapping into that lean muscle.

Also, it’s still important to train your abs and keep a strong core, because it will help you perform better in almost any exercise.

So, include lots of ABS workouts to tone the muscles of your core and help you speed up the weight loss and get a smaller waist.

Here’s the ABS workout routine I do:

#5 Activate Your Glutes

Many girls have trouble understanding how to activate their glutes in order to target them properly.

Simply by doing squats, you won’t achieve much, because you’ll have to dig deeper into those glute muscles.

Here’s my 6 minute glute activation workout:

As you can see there, it’s a lot more complex than doing glute bridges and hip thrusts.

To really make a change and grow bigger glutes, you’ll have to work harder on activating those glutes.
Plus challenging them with different kinds of exercises each training.

Start Loving Yourself More

Self-love is the next thing you should do.

That’s right!

Even if you do all of these things you may still not get hourglass body shape, and that’s totally okay.

You know why?

Because we are all made differently and that’s the beauty of it.

We shouldn’t obsess with society’s beauty standards and one reason for that is Photoshop.

Thank God for the honest fitspo girls, that work freaking hard to let us know how Social media really works.

Let’s take Imre Çeçen as an example, an Instagram fitspo who is not afraid to share posts like this:

Natural shape vs Photoshop.

She often shows how easy it is to spice things a bit and get a totally different look.

And girls, I’m not denying that hourglass shape exists because it does.

It’s just so sad that nowadays Photoshop tends to set up the rules of how we should look, and we have to stop it.

Also, posing and taking pictures.

Here’s Jelly Devote showing us how posing can work.

People pose, all the time.

And there’s nothing wrong about posing!!!
Except we should be aware that a pose is a picture of a moment when we pose and that’s not the most natural posture of the body and face.

When we take a photo, we’re most certainly not relaxed like a total potato – it comes naturally to flex in order to look prettier and sexier, however that’s not how we look all the time.

Even the fittest chicks and athletes have saggy skin when they’re not flexed.

Here’s another proof for that:

Things are not always what they look like, and I just want you to know that.

Nobody’s perfect, some are just better at hiding it than others, and you shouldn’t let society make you think you’re not worth it, because you totally are!

You may never get hourglass body shape, and you may never get that desired hourglass figure (small waist big hips) and that’s totally fine.

What you should focus on is eating healthy, exercising daily and constantly making healthy decisions about yourself, because that’s the way to achieving the best version of yourself.

That’s the beauty of it, girls – being your own beautiful, instead of chasing someone else’s body shape.

Love and hugs to all of you babes!
Till next time,
