When I think of snacks, the first thing that crosses my mind is chips. Well, who doesn’t like chips? Everyone does! It can be a satisfying crunchy snack, but also one high in fat and sodium. It is very unhealthy, because it is fried.

Delicious and healthy low fat oven baked chips can be made not only from potatoes, but from other veggies too. You can do it with sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini, or even with beets. And you know what? They taste even better than the one you can buy in the store.

Ingredients:

Potatoes
Olive oil
Salt

Instructions:

First, peel the potatoes and wash them nicely. Then cut them in whatever shape you want. I decided to go with the chips version and to cut them in circles, but you can make them as “french fries” too.

Then, put the potatoes in a bowl. Pour olive oil over them and mix them nicely, so that every single potatoe get oily. My measurement is 1 tablespoon olive oil for 1 potato, so if you make 3 potatoes, add 3 tablespoons olive oil.

Then pour salt over them, and again, mix them nicely. Finally, put them on a baking paper, in a preheated 230 degree oven, and bake them for about 40-50 minutes.

Bonn appetite!
