“My New Year’s Resolution + Inspiring Posters To Start Your Year Right” – Monica May

Happy New Year babes!

This year has probably been the toughest year for all of us.

That’s why it’s super important to get our resolution on point.

Now, each year, I’m creating a new year’s resolution for you.

However, this year we’re making a plan on how to stick to that resolution.

Over 90% of the people who start a New Year’s Resolution will quit their resolution in the first month.

And I’m here to make sure we’re not one of them.

We’ll learn how to stick to our resolution, do better, take care of ourselves the right way, and finally achieve all of our goals this year.

Remember all of those goals you set aside and didn’t have time for, all year?

We’re setting a plan to achieve them all!

Let’s get started right away.

My New Year’s Resolution Plan

#1: Write It Down

The most important thing when it comes to achieving your goals is visualizing them, and writing them down.

Write them down on a piece of paper and hang it on the wall.

I have a rule that if I write it down, I have to do it.

That’s why my new workout program is coming out this month – I wrote it in my last year’s resolution and managed to do it.

Here’s a list of my 50 fitness New Year’s resolutions.

#2 Break Down Your Resolutions Into Smaller Ones

It’s so easy when we set the resolutions, but sticking to them is the hardest part.

Especially since we think we have an entire year to work on them.

And when the time comes we just get overwhelmed and demotivated, that the only way out is to quit.

That’s why it’s important to set smaller ones, in order to achieve a bigger goal in the long run.

For example, if we would write down ‘Eat Healthy’ where do we start?

Instead, we’re writing down smaller resolutions that add up to our goal, such as:

  • eat more veggies
  • eat less processed food
  • eat more proteins
  • cook more
  • start meal prepping
  • eat less sugar

This way we’re much more likely to stick to them.

#3: Motivate Yourself Daily

Motivation is key when it comes to starting and sticking to a new year’s resolution.

Yet, it’s so easy to lose your motivation after some time has passed and your everyday life gets in the way.

That’s why I packed 8 inspiring posters for you to grab, print out or set as a wallpaper on your smartphone, so you always remember how important your goals are.

Yes It Is

It’s Up To You

New Chances

It’s Your Call

Everything’s Brand New

The Time Is Now

Yes It Will Be

So What Are You Waiting For?!

#4 Reward Yourself Each Month

Next to your resolutions, write down rewards, aka the things you’d like to get.

Rather it’s a dinner at your favorite restaurant or a cute workout set, whatever it is, write one down for each month.

Once you accomplish your mini resolution for the month, go ahead, and reward yourself.

#5 Do It With A Friend

And last, but not least, you should consider doing it with a friend.

I usually do my resolutions with my bf.

Since we live together, we cook together and do things together, and most important of all we push each other up to accomplish our goals.

Your Year Is Waiting – Go Get It!

I hope my plan helped you start your year right and my posters helped you get your motivation on point.

Now, what are you waiting for – go get your year right now!

Till next time babe!
