Do We Really Need A Diet?!
First of all when we think of weight loss, the first thing that crosses our mind is – diet.
But which one should we pick?
Since there are tons of them, all over the internet, it can be quite confusing, right?
First of all, we have the Paleo diet, or the caveman diet, one new but very popular eating lifestyle, with the motto “If a caveman couldn’t eat it, neither can you”.
Next, we have the gluten free diet, witch is made strictly for people that have the celiac disease.
Today, more and more people rely on this diet for losing weight, even though they don’t need it as a treatment, which is a little bit confusing. Next up is the Mediterranean diet.
This one is for a healthier heart, and it’s based mostly on fruits, vegetables, fish and seafood.
The Dash diet, on the other hand is an eating plan, lower in sodium than the typical American diet – it’s basically salt free.
You’ve probably heard about the HCG diet, that uses the HCG hormone to stimulate your metabolism to burn fat while maintaining muscle.
The result is shaped and toned body, this diet doesn’t sound that healthy to me, but again many people decide to go for the easier way.
You may’ve heard about the French Dukan diet, based on a list of over 100 allowed foods, or about the Ketogenic diet that is high-fat eating plan, or the detox diet, known for its ability to clean your organism from toxins.
What about the weight loss pills or other diet plans that are offering you the fastest weight loss ever?!
I can go on for days, and the list would be endless.
But to be honest, you can’t expect a lot of a diet, if it lasts one month, or even several months.
The results from these short-lasting eating routines will be gone as soon as you go back to your old eating habits.
There are also a number of diets that are limiting your portion and your calorie intake.
But it’s pointless to be on a diet that makes you starve, because you would want it to end as soon as possible, right?
The only thing you would think about while you are on these diets, will be – food, because you will be in constant hunger.
But what if the diet is not a starving one, and instead it is one that gives you everything, only if the food is cooked in the right way?
Would you be able to change the word “diet” into a “healthy eating lifestyle”?
Knowing that it would be good for your health, great for your heart, and amazing for your body.
Why wouldn’t you, right?
Well, that’s exactly what I’m offering to you, how to lose weight and live healthy for life!
Let’s get started!
Step #1: Eating Program
This healthy eating lifestyle, or as I call it “The yummiest and healthiest Fit Girl’s eating program”, is based on eating whatever you want, it just has to be prepared in the right, healthy way.
– You can eat fries, you just have to bake them instead of frying them.
There are many recipes on how to bake your “fries”, and believe me you can’t tell the difference because they taste amazing.
This eating program is actually full of vitamins, vegetables, fruits, protein, carbs, “good fats”(such as omega 3), then iron-rich foods, high fiber foods, potassium-rich foods…
And because allrecipes are cooked in the right healthy way, it will be your health insurance.
The thing is you don’t have to change the way you eat, you just have to change the way you cook.
The best thing about all of this is that when you eat healthy and clean food, you don’t have to worry about how much you eat.
You DON’T have to:
- measure your portions
- count your calories
- avoid your favorite food
- eat one type of food only
- be on a strict diet
You just have to realize that it’s all about eating healthy.
The thing is, it’s better to eat a banana that has 200 calories, instead of drinking a diet coke that has zero calories.
I hope you get my point and agree with me because this is the key to a healthier and happier life.
One very important thing in this whole process is that you have to kiss goodbye the junk food.
You can have dinner out or go to the restaurant, but you’re gonna have to order healthy cooked food.
For example baked potatoes over fried.
There are tons of restaurants that offer a healthy menu, so you can eat out, just choose wisely.
You should pick the Chinese food, the amazing Thai food, or even the Mexican food, just try to avoid the fast food from the menu.

Step #2: Workout Program
Is working out really that important?
YES IT IS!
As my friend Deniza says in her Fat Loss Guide – GAIN MUSCLES NOT FAT!
Well she is right!
When you see all those pictures of sexy girls with a toned body and gorgeous ABS, you have to know that they didn’t get that body by sitting on the couch and eating pizza.
It takes months, even years to have that body, commitment and discipline, by everyday workout, and eating clean and healthy food.
It takes guts!
People don’t realize until they begin this journey, just how much courage and commitment it takes!
- The everyday battles of exercising even when your body and mind doesn’t want to,
- dealing with people’s unwanted comments and opinions…
All of this takes courage!
But it is possible!
And I’ll HELP YOU SUCCEED!
Step #3: Recognize A Bad Workout Program
There are many workout programs all over the internet.
But the real catch is to get the best workout program out of the tons of exercising plans.
Well, you have to know some tips to recognize a bad workout program:
- It has to last longer than 45 minutes a day
- It has to be high intensity training
- It has to be at least 4-5 times a week
- It has to be challenging
A workout program is a exercising plan that contains certain exercises that take time, patience and dedication, but in the end they transform your body.
And you cannot do that if you do it for 10-15 minutes, 3 times a week, for sure.
I just want to make sure that you know about these “10 minutes workout programs”, because a workout should definitely last longer than that
In the first 10-15 minutes your body is just warming up, so please break that myth in your head, that you can get fit in just 10 minutes a day, because you can’t.
So, no, you cannot lose weight fast!
It’s really a long process but it is possible, so let’s head on to the next step!
The Best Free Workout Programs
I have workout programs and all of them include going to the gym and lifting weights.
I know what you’re thinking of right now – you think of bodybuilding.
You think that you are going to get bulky and you are going to look like a bodybuilder.
Well, that’s a big myth. Girl, even if you want to get like that, you can’t, because we are girls and we don’t have those hormones and we certainly don’t have those body constructions.
Yes, there are girls that are building their bodies, but they take a lot of supplements such as steroids. There are some things we can’t do with aerobic, cardio, yoga or Pilates. I got bothered a lot with all that gym stereotypes, so I’m going to give you some facts about weight lifting:
- Weight lifting is great for losing weight!
By lifting weights, you can lose 40% more of your body fat and the huge advantage is that you burn fat during and after exercise.
- Cardio training won’t get you a curved and sexy body.
You can run on the treadmill all day, but remember skinny is not sexy, fit is!
Strength trainings give a nice shape to your body – as you tone muscles, your body begins to take a nice hourglass shape and you are getting not only skinnier, but sexier!
- Muscle and fitness have other benefits too.
You’ll get better sleep, stronger bones, healthier heart, you’ll manage stress better and most important of all you’ll lose weight faster.
- Most of the girls are afraid of doing hard trainings but they want to tone their legs.
Anyway, they are afraid that they will build up their legs and that is not true.
Girls, you can not over-do the legs and you can not get sexy legs in 15 minutes.
The legs are used daily for basic activities like walking, standing, going upstairs or just getting up from a chair.
Half-ass, 15min workouts will do nothing.
Your legs are accustomed to working all day, so only dedication to intense hard work in the gym will bring you to sexy and strong legs.
So here are the three workout programs that will fit perfectly in your eating plan and will do you a great job in the weight loss process.

When it comes to the muscle groups, you have to work on all of them.
The whole body must be included in the workout process.
Maybe it’s weird to you why you have to do chest workout.
Well, how else are you going to get that nice shaped and toned boobs.
They won’t get bigger, they will just get stronger and look nicer.
Then, the ass. If you want to get that nice shaped Brasilian bubble butt, you have to do legs workout and butt workout.
Everything is related, that’s the reason you have to work on the whole picture.
Can We Lose Weight Fast?
I have to be honest, losing weight is long and lasting process.
But it’s possible!
As I said, these days, I see a lot of workout routines that take only 15 minutes. Well, that’s awesome, right?
For example,”get sexy and toned legs in just 15 minutes”, “how to lose belly fat fast”, or “weight loss program that takes 15 minutes of your day”.
Wow, that sounds great, don’t you think? Yes, it sounds great, but also, it sounds pretty unreal.
I hate it when these myths just come out of nowhere, just because some people want to give you a false impression.
First of all, for 15 minutes you can’t even get sweaty. Every cardio workout should be at least 20 to 40 minutes.
For the first 20 minutes of your workout, you are always burning the energy that you have left from the food you have eaten. After you burn the food sources, you start to burn body fat.
So, you can see why it can’t happen that fast?
You didn’t gain that weight in two weeks, right?
So please don’t expect to lose it fast too!
Sometimes it takes months, even years to lose the weight we have gained.
You just have to be patient, try hard and of course love yourself and you’ll see the results.
Step #4: Results
You can throw away your scale because those numbers mean nothing at all.
Muscle seems to weigh more than fat, so with this lifestyle you lose fat and you make muscles instead.
There is a difference in the volume between the two of them, but you don’t want to find yourself in a position where you think you are not losing weight.
Because of that you should see your results through body measurements.

Well, magnesium and calcium are great for your muscles and bones too.
Also vitamin d and vitamin c.
About the supplements, I was thinking about some extra protein to feed the muscles.

Any suggestions for vegetarians here? I’m generally a smoothie+coffee in the morning kind of human. I have an allergy to avocados(I don’t like to talk about it…) and tend to be in school literally all day(I’ve been known to get home at nine or ten pm) so meals are hard to plan around. Thoughts?
Your breakfast sounds great to me :)
When it comes to the lunch, I’d suggest beans or peas, with mushrooms and a bowl of salad.
Since you’re vegetarian, you should include as much natural proteins as you can.
For example: green beans with mushrooms and a bowl of salad.
You can also buy a protein bread, or any no flour bread and make yourself sandwiches for school, with humus for example.
Don’t forget to include some dairy products in your meal, such as cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, mozzarella or eggs too.

Hi! Italian living in Japan woman here.I started the gim September last year and I had barely any result for the first 4 months (from 69 to 67 kilos, the doctor said the right weight for me should be 59kg).
As you wrote, I gave up on weight lifting after the first 2 months. Not because I didn’t want to do them, but because I didn’t see any result in losing weight and I didn’t want to gain muscles under fat layers.
I’ll be back in my country for 2 weeks after more than 2 years without visiting, so although I’ll try to not overeat… I really miss italian food so I don’t want to restain myself. As I’ll come back I’ll try your training and your receipes!!
One question* what about times when we go to friends house or we just can’t resist to that tiramisu piece? Should we do some extra exercise or let it be and go on as usual as long as the diet-creak isn’t too often.

I’d say don’t worry abut those two weeks, just try to keep it as healthy as possible.
Italians has so many healthy traditional foods. One of my favorite is Caprese salad, made out of mozzarella, tomatoes and basil.
I love Italian pasta too, but make sure to choose whole grain pasta instead of the regular white pasta.
I know it’s hard, but try your best.
About those visits at friends houses, try to talk to them and explain them you’re trying to get healthy and you don’t want to eat bad food.
Let’s say you were a vegan, would they serve stuffed turkey on the table? Of course not!
Talk to them, and I know they’d love to help out.
